His Majesty’s Theatre Foundation’s Mission is to support performing arts in Western Australia.

His Majesty’s Theatre Foundation strongly encourages participation in the arts.  Research indicates that regardless of age, people who participate in arts develop a sense of belonging and improve their mental and physical health. 

Funds raised through partnerships, sponsorships, philanthropy and special events underwrite a range of our community enhancement programs which help to develop young Australian artists, inspire future generations with education and outreach programs and commission new works including: 

Morning Melodies:  monthly mid-morning Concerts for the Young at Heart! 

MajKidz:  a year long program of unique interactive workshops for kids aged 10-12 years with a keen interest in the theatre

The Brainbox Project:  a creative initiative focused on the development and production of new concepts and professional productions for intimate cabaret and intimate theatre. It includes the popular annual Maj Monologues competition for emerging playwrights.
